Yorkshire and Humberside's Gender Balance Success!

12.00.00am GMT Thu 8th Nov 2007

Yorks and Humber Female PPCs

Yorkshire and Humberside have been working hard towards achieving gender balance among their candidates, and the results are certainly showing! From the nineteen PPCs selected in the region, nine are women, and the Campaign would like to acknowledge the efforts of both the individual PPCs and the region as a whole for achieving this balance.

The PPCs shown in this photo, taken at the Yorks and Humber Regional Conference, are as follows (left to right): Diane Park (Halifax), Hilary Myers (Calder Valley), Claire Kelley (Harrogate & Knaresborough), Nicola Turner (Colne Valley), Madeleine Kirk (York Outer), Ruth Coleman (Leeds West), Tania Exley-Moore (Scarborough and Whitby), Aqila Choudry (Leeds North East), Linda Curran (Richmond)
