Wanted: Gender Balance Campaign Organiser

Co-ordinate the party's Campaign for Gender Balance!

You will be an effective organiser, with excellent interpersonal and networking skills. Working closely with the Chair, Vice Chairs, key party staff and organisations, you will organise a regional training programme, conference activity and a well-publicised campaign across the party to encourage women to become approved candidates. Responsible for managing and expanding the gender balance volunteer supporters network, you will ensure women seeking help with approval and selection are linked up with our volunteer mentors and helpers.

The post is 30 hours per week, mostly based from home but with at least 1 day each week working in Westminster. Some evening and weekend work is required. The initial contract is for 6 months, to be renewed subject to performance and the Campaign for Gender Balance securing funding for 2007.
